Wine Tour: Best of Argentina & Chile

Our personalized tour will take you on a luxury adventure through the world famous region of Mendoza, Argentina and the prestigious wineries of Maipo Valley in Santiago, Chile. Depart with our local Tour Leader from Kansas City or meet our group in Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires, Argentina - Mendoza - Santiago, Chile

DAY 1 - Group departure from Kansas City

Meet with your Tour Leader at the airport. We will make sure everyone is checked-in and accounted for and embark upon our adventure. Travelers joining our tour from other cities may decide to meet us on our layover in Dallas or catch up with our group in Buenos Aires.

DAY 2 - Arrive into Buenos Aires

Today you will arrive into Buenos Aires. Reception at airport and transfer to our centrally located hotel in the historic neighborhood of Recoleta. We will have the afternoon free. Later this evening you are invited to dinner and a Tango Show. Tonight's hotel - Buenos Aires: Grand Hotel

DAY 3 - Buenos Aires City Tour

This tour portrays the many faces of Buenos Aires: we will visit the most famous landmark of the city, the Obelisk, the most important squares of the capital, Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martin and Plaza Alvear; the widest avenue in the world - 9 de Julio among other avenues. La Boca and San Telmo historic neighborhoods, the magnificent Palermo and traditional Recoleta, and other modern neighborhoods like Puerto Madero; Lezama Park and Tres de Febrero (known as Bosques de Palermo) along with the Ecologic Reserve of the ‘Costanera Sur’ and the commercial and financial areas of the city.

DAY 4 - Morning flight to Mendoza. Afternoon Mendoza city tour

This morning we will be picked up from our hotel and transferred to Buenos Aires downtown airport. Our short flight to Mendoza will arrive early giving us time to relax before our afternoon city tour. . Tonight’s hotel – Diplomatic Hotel

DAY 5 - Mendoza - Maipú region

Private coach & Guide at disposal to visit Maipú wineries. Night in Maipú. . Tonight’s hotel – Club Tapiz

DAY 6 - Mendoza - Luján de Cuyo region

Private coach & Guide at disposal to visit Luján de Cuyo wineries. Night in Luján de Cuyo. . Tonight’s hotel – Villa Mansa

DAY 7 - Mendoza - Uco Valley region

Private coach & Guide at disposal to visit Uco Valley wineries. Night in Uco Valley. Tonight’s hotel – Posada Salentein

DAY 8 - High Mountain Tour and transfer Santiago, Chile

We’ll leave the hotel early in the morning and travel along the Mendoza River. We’ll be able to enjoy the view of the majestic mountain range Cordon del Plata and the Potrerillos dam. Our journey from Argentina into Chile will take us past many hihghlights including Uspallatathe southernmost point of the Inca Empire as well as the Cerro Aconcagua and Las Cuevas. This evening we will arrive into Santiago de Chile. Tonight’s hotel – Hotel Plaza San Francisco

DAY 9 - City tour of Santiago de Chile

We´ll begin our tour visiting downtown Santiago and its main attractions. We’ll enjoy panoramic views of Bellavista neighborhood, Mercado Central, Estación Mapocho and the Bellas Artes Museum. We’ll have a guided tour in Santa Lucia Hill and after that, we’ll head to the main square, Plaza de Armas, from where it’s possible to see Santiago’s Cathedral, Municipality, Post Office and National History Museum.

DAY 10 - Maipo Valley

This is an ideal tour for learning about some of the history and magic of wine, in some of the most prestigious wineries in Chile and the world. We’ll have the opportunity to taste different wine varieties and appreciate their quality, flavour, and scents. Some of the most prestigious and renowned wineries such as Cousiño Macul, Undurraga, Concha y Toro are located in Maipo Valley.
